TO KEEP THE ADHESIVE IN PRIME WORKING CONDITION: Store the hang tabs in sealed boxes with the paper liner attached, leaving the adhesive unexposed and protected from direct light. We recommend storing adhesive-backed hang tabs at temperatures between 59° and 82° Fahrenheit (15° to 28° Celsius), with relative humidity between 20% and 60%.
Under ideal conditions, shelf life has exceeded four to five years. As a general rule, we recommend using the hang tabs within two years of the purchase date. Failure to follow these storage recommendations may reduce the shelf life and performance of the adhesive.
Clip Strip Corp. performs multiple, comprehensive quality-control checks on all materials used in the production of our hang tabs. These checks include incoming inspection testing, testing at the beginning of production runs, and additional testing as needed.
The adhesive must bond to a clean, dry, contaminant-free, high-energy surface. One way to evaluate surface energy is to test the dyne level. We recommend bonding to a surface with a dyne level of 38 or higher.
